Find the core of the fruit...(the part you wouldn't eat in the middle)...and line it up with the corer's center....

Twist and drill..
It is handy to have a bowl to catch the fresh juice as it comes out...and to place the freshly cut "meat".

Depending on how much "meat" you want, adjust your drill depth accordingly...this example (Fig. 9) goes all the way through to the bottom.
Enjoy your pineapple and throw the shell away. If you don't drill all the way through like we did (Fig. 9,10), you could have a fruity tropical glass and play "Gilligan's Island." This time around we'll have to implement our bottomless glass policy on the juice.
